You`re right. TZD/TGD/TR/DTR (TRD on the mainland) are all just trim levels.

The engines are then 17, 19, Turbo.

Cool. Allow me to venture some options that everyone will /hate/.



Punto HGT, cheap for age and spec, ditto Xsara VTS - good engine, nice

handling, fucking ugly, grim interior.



MX5 1.8 Sport?



Hmmm, can you get Civic Type Rs for 6k yet?



Perhaps something not very old and MG/Rover?



406 Coupe V6 or 2.2HDi?



Celica VVTi?
