I`ve got a feeling TZD didn`t neccessarily mean turbo diesel. The T in a

badge on a BX certainly doesn`t neccessarily denote a turbo, it`s more like

a trim level, I think. But I`m really not all that sure.

They`re both turbos - it says so! Doug`s point was that they didn`t put the

1.9TD engine in the BX! And btw, the 1.7 and 1.8 engines in the BX are

exactly the same size - they were just referred to as both.

You`re right. TZD/TGD/TR/DTR (TRD on the mainland) are all just trim levels.

The engines are then 17, 19, Turbo.

cheers,

Cool. Allow me to venture some options that everyone will /hate/.

Punto HGT, cheap for age and spec, ditto Xsara VTS - good engine, nice

handling, fucking ugly, grim interior.

MX5 1.8 Sport?

Hmmm, can you get Civic Type Rs for 6k yet?

Perhaps something not very old and MG/Rover?

406 Coupe V6 or 2.2HDi?

Celica VVTi?

Butterfly Inspired Car – The Nissan Teana Birdwing Concept -
This Nissan Teana concept is freakishly cool. Everything about the car is supposed to remind you of a butterfly. Why the butterfly was used to model a car, I have no idea, but I can’t argue with the results.

Everything from the exterior sheet metal to the heavily overworked interior is supposed to invoke one of nature’s most beautiful insects. The sensibility isn’t for everyone but there’s something original about all the detailing. It’s ornate but in a modern way. Get past the design quirks and you’ll find a car full of tech wizardry like a heads up HUD display and auto-driver mode. So how about it, would you drive one?
